I <3 MN
My podcast, "I <3 MN," ended up being a storytelling podcast about how my roommate and I both ended up in Minnesota, some of our favorite memories while living her, and what our plans might be after college is over. It encompasses our journeys and also advice for seniors in high school or young adults just moving to Minnesota. My guest is my roommate, Maddie, who also grew up near Chicago and had a similar journey when trying to find the right place for her, so I thought it would be perfect to include her on the podcast. The target audience is young adults who are moving here or seniors in high school trying to figure out the best place for them for college. I think this podcast best targets these audiences because we go into depth about how uncertainty is okay and that, in the end, everything will be okay. We discuss how our lives are so different and the development we've experienced living in a new state alone for the first time. The call to action, throughout the podcast, is to visit Minnesota or choose Minnesota as your next home because it really is an amazing place to live with tons to offer and so many opportunities.
Ruby and her roommate, Maddie, discuss how their lives have changed and evolved since moving to Minnesota. Both growing up in Chicago Suburbs and moving to a new city in your late teens and early twenties encompasses many new experiences from adjusting to college life, working, and exploring all Minneapolis has to offer. This podcast will cover multiple different topics talked about by two 20 year old girls who are currently living and exploring all this new home has to offer.
