Personally, I believe that blogging is an important part of this portfolio because, while blogs may be a little more personal and less professional, they're a way to brand yourself and show your creative thought process. Learning how to write and tell stories is a very important tool when developing your communication style and skills for brand communications. In Digital Content Creation and Production for Brand Communications, blogging was our first unit to step into the world of brand communications, and one of the units that has given us the most creativity with topic and content creation. Throughout the creative process of building a blog, I want to prioritize visuals and easy-to-digest materials to make it easier and more fun for the viewer to look through. That is why you will find my writing style includes embedded images, embedded social media profiles, bullet points, and smaller blocks of information. Overall, creating a blog has been a chance to step into my own creativity and have fun while exploring new ways brands can communicate.
